Growth and Expansion
We are excited to announce that the initial phase of our vision of a larger, better equipped school that will be a resource for children, parents and teachers in Victoria and across Vancouver Island has been realized.
In Spring 2010, we purchased a building at 4052 Wilkinson Road and our Board of Directors is making strategic plans for our continued expansion. We want to gradually increase our enrollment to 100 students a year, serve students to the end of high school, and provide outreach services to parents and teachers across Vancouver Island.
Our Discovery School community is currently very small, so we cannot fund such a large capital investment alone. We are continuing our capital campaign to help us remodel our building and hope to also obtain funds to help provide the equipment that our students require.
